Our Story

Libertad Co NYC was born from a simple but powerful belief: everyone deserves jewelry that lasts, fits their budget, and tells their story.

Growing up, our founder Maryam saw firsthand how accessories could transform confidence and communicate identity. But she also noticed a gap — so many beautiful, stylish pieces weren't affordable, weren't inclusive, and simply didn't last. Rings that turned green. Necklaces that tarnished after one wear. Pieces that couldn't keep up with real life.

With a background in experiential marketing, brand activations, and event production, Maryam had spent years creating memorable moments for others. She knew how to bring people together, spark emotion, and build community. So she channeled all of that into something deeply personal — a jewelry brand rooted in creativity, community, and self-expression.
